The role of EU integration parliamentary committees in candidate countries and potential candidate countries, as well as the global crisis and its effects on the Western Balkan region are on the agenda of the Eighth Cetinje Parliamentary Forum in Cetinje.
At the same time, the Fourth Conference of the European Integration Parliamentary Committees of States participating to the Stabilisation of Association Process (COSAP) is taking place. Both events were opened by the Speaker of Montenegro's Parliament, Ranko Krivokapic, and the Head of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro, Ambassador Paraschiva Badescu.
The event brings together parliamentarians of EU member states, candidate countries and potential candidate countries, representatives of the European Commission, the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and senior officials of the Government of Montenegro.
