Workshop aiming to enhance capacities of Municipal Project Co-ordinators Network supported by OSCE Mission to Montenegro

The OSCE Mission to Montenegro, in co-operation with the Union of Municipalities of Montenegro, supported a three-day workshop aimed at enhancing the capacities of the Network of Municipal Project Co-ordinators, from 9 to 11 November 2016, in Herceg Novi.
The Network, which gathers representatives of 14 municipalities, was established in 2014 by the Union of Municipalities of Montenegro to create a platform for the continuous exchange of experience in the area of project development and implementation.
During the workshop, the Network developed six concept notes for prospective joint projects, thus increasing inter-municipal co-operation. The concept notes are ready to be shared with potential donors, or as project applications for future open calls. The workshop helped the municipalities to focus on specific areas and partnership.
The Mission will support one final meeting of the Network in December 2016 in order to further support inter-municipal co-operation as well as co-operation with other institutions in Montenegro, including the civil sector.
