Entrepreneurship and developing business ideas in focus of OSCE-supported training course for women in Montenegro’s Tivat municipality
The challenges and opportunities for female entrepreneurship, institutional support, development of business ideas and time management were the topics of a training course organized in Montenegro’s municipality of Tivat on 6 and 7 November 2015, with the support of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro.
The participants - unemployed women from Tivat municipality - had an opportunity to learn about the guidelines for start-ups and the ways to overcome the main challenges.
Opening the event, Darka Ognjanović, the Head of Gender Equality Office, Tivat municipality, said that her Office is willing to provide support to women who want to develop new business ideas as well as those who aim to modernize and re-establish existing businesses. “Our support is offered for establishing private businesses as well as NGOs, associations and other types of services.”
The OSCE stands committed to providing support in eliminating gender stereotypes and creating opportunities for the participation of women in all spheres of public and political life.
