CHISINAU, 5 November 2012 – The OSCE Head of Mission to Moldova, Ambassador Jennifer Brush, welcomed today the release of Alexandru Ursu, who was sentenced for 15 years of imprisonment in Transdniestria in May 2010.
“I am relieved to hear that Alexandru Ursu was set free today,” Brush said. “The OSCE has closely monitored the situation, and I welcome the important humanitarian gesture of the Transdniestrian leadership.”
