OSCE Mission to Serbia supports international meeting of state attorneys on practice and dialogue exchange
Some 40 national and international state attorneys and their deputies gathered to discuss the latest developments in the work of state attorneys at an international conference taking place from 30 November to 1 December 2017 in Belgrade.
During the two-day event, participants from Greece, Italy, Serbia, Slovenia and Spain will introduce their respective institutions by presenting relevant aspects of their work. The main focus of the conference is on the current state of play among the respective institutions and on enhancing co-operation between the state attorneys’ offices, courts and other judicial authorities.
Together with the State Attorney’s Office of Serbia, as an institution which represents the property and legal interests of the state, the OSCE Mission to Serbia hosted the conference to facilitate exchange of experiences and views on topics of mutual interest, and to contribute to harmonizing and strengthening legal systems in Serbia and all over Europe through close co-operation of State Attorneys Offices.
The international conference of state attorneys was organized as part of the OSCE Mission to Serbia’s efforts aimed at enhancing capabilities of legal professionals to improve the efficiency of legal services.
