OSCE supports training for Montenegro’s parliamentary services
Podgorica, 3 October 2017 - A training workshop for the parliamentary services of Montenegro focusing on business culture and communication was organized by the Parliament of Montenegro with support of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro on 28 and 29 September 2017 in Podgorica. Fifteen members of different departments of the parliamentary services participated.
The second in a series of three, the workshop featured a presentation which introduced the participants to different business models and styles and increased their awareness of how these affect communication among staff members and with external partners.
The participants evaluated the workshop as highly productive and useful, in particular as regards suggestions for being more proactive and promoting horizontal knowledge sharing among the service staff.
“This workshop has strengthened the links between myself and my colleagues and made me aware of my own shortcomings in my daily business communication and how to improve on them,” one of the participants said.
The first event in this series, which also focused on business culture and communication, was held on 14 and 15 September 2017. The next workshop, on the topic of conflict management, will take place on 12 and 13 October in Podgorica.
