The OSCE Mission in Kosovo is conducting a two-week advanced training course on loopholes in procurement and tender procedures and the investigation of potential economic and financial crimes. Participants include 20 investigators from the Kosovo Police Directorate for Economic Crime and Corruption, the Special Anti-Corruption Department, customs officers, and officials from the Kosovo Police Inspectorate and the Financial Intelligence Centre within the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The training will focus on identifying and investigating corrupt practices using special methods and criminal investigation tools. It will also address connection between procurement violations and other corruption related-offences and organized crime.
The training will be delivered by experts on procurement, economic and financial crimes, and corruption investigation.
