Explosion in OSCE political party centre in Kosovo

PRISTINA, 18 August 2000 - The following statement was issued by Roland Bless, Spokesperson, OSCE Mission in Kosovo during a media briefing on 18 June:
An explosion of what seems to be a planted bomb occurred behind the building on Mother Theresa Street, Pristina, where the OSCE-run Political Party Support Centre is located.
The explosion caused some damage to several party offices. In the office of the Turkish People's Party one person was very slightly injured.
Although it is too early to determine what part of the building the bomb was targeted, OSCE strongly condemns this criminal act of violence.
