This is a fifth seminar in Bishkek for security policy experts from Eurasia, East and South Asia, Europe and the USA, which is run as a roundtable discussion following the Chatham House rules. It will focus on key security trends in Afghanistan, notably with implications for Central Asia and globally; military co-operation and competition; security service reforms in Central Asia and international involvement in them; interlocking strategic visions of key players; and roles of non-state violent actors (organized crime) in the regional security balance.
