OSCE Centre trains interior ministry troops at Kambar-Ata 2 hydropower station

A 10-day training course supported by the OSCE Centre in Bishkek to enhance security of the Kambar –Ata 2 hydropower station in central Kyrgyzstan started on 26 September 2011.
Some 20 participants from the Internal Troops of Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Interior will be trained in the installation, use and maintenance of video surveillance equipment, which was installed with the support of the OSCE Centre.
The training course is part of the OSCE Centre’s wider activities to help strengthen the protection and security of critical energy infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan.
