Kyrgyz Prime Minister commends work and co-operation with OSCE Academy in Bishkek
The eleventh graduation ceremony of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek took place on 25 September 2015, which granted master’s degree to 23 students from the Central Asian countries. Kyrgyz Prime Minister Temir Sariev, Head of the OSCE Centre in Bishkek Sergey Kapinos and the Director of the OSCE Academy Maxim Ryabkov along with representatives of partner institutions and foreign embassies attended the ceremony.
“OSCE Academy is a unique institution, and one of the best examples of co-operation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the OSCE, its participating States and neighbours in the region,” said Prime Minister Sariev. “We will continue to support the Academy and its graduates, as I am confident that the new generation of leaders will be able to contribute to the further successful development of the region.”
Ambassador Kapinos noted that the Academy is well placed, connecting people from the Central Asian region and beyond. “I congratulate the graduates and call on them to overcome the challenges and start the hard work towards development, security and prosperity in the Central Asian region.”
Director Ryabkov said: "Watching the professional growth of our graduates, their participation in social and scientific debate, I am positive that those who leave the Academy today are well-prepared and motivated to contribute to the development of the region."
The graduates joined the alumni network of the OSCE Academy, which has more than 300 members worldwide.
