OSCE urges voters to check their polling station assignments
SARAJEVO 20 July 2000
SARAJEVO, 20 July 2000 - The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina urges all BiH voters to visit their municipal Voter Registration Centers to check their polling station assignments and, if necessary, make appropriate changes to their personal data and assignment details. This procedure shall ensure that voters are enabled to vote at a place close to their residence and that their names will be listed on the voters roll in the polling station where they intend to vote.

This is of particular interest for:
- Registered voters who moved (or who will move) residence in the period between the April 8 Municipal elections and the General elections on November 11, 2000 - including 'by-mail' voters returning from abroad ;
- Registered voters whose names were not listed at the correct polling station during the April elections, and who still have not corrected this ;
- Registered voters who are students and who will be residing at their university in November this year, and who want to vote by absentee ballot in their University City.
