Regional seminar “Means and opportunities for civil society organizations to participate in the legislative process”

The seminar aims to train civil society representatives from Astana, Karaganda, Kokshetau, Kostanay, Pavlodar and Petropavlovsk on how to properly handle requests to the Parliament and ways to enhance their co-operation with parliamentary factions. The training seminar will, inter alia, equip non-governmental organizations with the skills and knowledge to analyse the legislation, draft laws, related documentation (including comparative tables, explanatory notes), participate in the activities of the parliamentary working groups and effectively communicate with parliamentarians and parliamentary committees.
