Regional training on the use of the Nordic Mule Software

During a three-day course, some 20 law enforcement investigators from the police services of Croatia, Montenegro, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia will be trained on the use of new computer software to fight cybercrime, child pornography and the sexual abuse of children, by tracing files used by those involved in the exchange of such material over the Internet. Two lecturers, one from the Danish police and the other from Serbian Ministry of Interior will deliver the training.
This project aims to improve the capacity of the Serbian Ministry of Interior as well as of other law enforcement services from the Western Balkans to prevent and investigate child pornography and the sexual abuse of children on the Internet. Upon completion of the training, the Nordic Mule Software will be donated to all regional police services whose representatives participated in the project.
