Launch of project to strengthen capacity of police from Serbia, fYROM and Montenegro to fight organized crime

18 crime analysts from the Interior Ministries of Serbia, fYRoM and Montenegro will learn methods to gather and analyse criminal trends within an OSCE-supported project that will be launched on 3rd October.
The project “Enhancing Capacities for Strategic Analysis and Strategic Assessment in the Criminal Investigation Directorates of the Serbian, Montenegrin and fYROM Ministries of Interior” aims to develop police capacity in assessing serious and organized crime threats in accordance to EUROPOL standards.
Milosav Milićković, Serbian Ministry of Interior State Secretary, fYROM’s Assistant Head of the Sector for Criminal Intelligence Analysis Tatjana Groševa, , Head of Department for Special Operational Analysis, Ministry of Interior of Montenegro Nikola Rogošić, Ambassador of Swiss Confederation, Jean-Daniel Ruch and Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, Ambassador Peter Burkhard are expected to speak at the project launch ceremony.
The project is a joint effort of the OSCE Mission to Serbia and the Serbian Interior Ministry, developed in close co-operation with Interior Ministries of Montenegro and fYROM. It is financially supported under the Swiss Regional Police Co-operation Programme in the Western Balkans (SPCP) by the Swiss Agency for Development and Co-operation (SDC).
