#UnitedCVE: Gender and Violent Extremism
30 November 2015
Women are not only victims of violent extremism and terrorism, they can be perpetrators and supporters. They also have crucial roles to play in prevention efforts. We need to take gender aspects into account in order to develop effective measures to counter violent extremism and radicalization that lead to terrorism.
OSCE United in Countering Violent Extremism (#UnitedCVE) campaign aims to send a unified message from the OSCE to reinforce a global consensus against violent extremism, and to highlight the OSCE’s comprehensive approach to preventing terrorism.
