Produced by the OSCE Mission in Kosovo as part of a campaign against child begging

This report evaluates 20 years of functioning of property rights mass-claim mechanisms in Kosovo. The resolution of conflict-related property claims undoubtedly constitutes a key step towards protecting the rights of the affected communities in Kosovo. It also fosters return and encourages the overall reconciliation process and inter-community relations within the society. Therefore, the effective functioning of such mechanisms has a significant potential impact on the lives of thousands of displaced persons and refugees.

This document introduces efforts by the OSCE Mission in Kosovo on Media and Information Literacy (MIL) initiatives. The presented highlights showcase how creative MIL initiatives contribute to comprehensive security through building a new generation of critical thinkers.

The report provides an overview of the current status of voluntary returns in Kosovo, including internally displaced persons and persons displaced in the region. It covers the period from January 2015 to December 2018 and provides updates to the OSCE 2014 report on voluntary returns.

This report provides an analysis of data collected by the OSCE Mission in Kosovo trial monitoring programme from January to December 2022 and identifies trends in prosecution, defence and court practices in relation to the imposition of detention measures on defendants with mental health needs in Kosovo. It analyses judicial practice for compliance with fair trial and international human rights standards.

The OSCE Survey on Well-being and Safety of Women in Kosovo provides detailed data on the patterns of violence against women, attitudes towards gender roles and the impact of violence in the lives of the women affected.

The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, Mission in Kosovo (OSCE) hereby invites representatives of small and medium size Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to participate in a capacity building training programme, with the aim (i) to increase knowledge and compliance with applicable legislative and administrative framework, (ii) to increase skills in drafting key quality internal documents, (iii) to enhance financial management and reporting skills, (iv) to strengthen advocacy skills and cross-sectorial partnerships, and (v) to enhance communication with media.

The purpose of this publication, which also represents a joint initiative, is to inform the general public of the importance of the implementation of the Anti-Discrimination Law. The articles underline the significance of the law as a good legal basis and provide recommendations that will help in the huge endeavor that its implementation requires.
