Evaluation of Facilitated Dialogue: Approaches, Frameworks and Challenges
The report comprises outcomes from the desk research of the best practices of dialogue evaluation conducted at the end of 2021. It is based on the analysis of academic and practitioner sources covering existing approaches, frameworks, and data collection methods used for evaluation of peacebuilding initiatives and dialogues in various conflict zones. This report will be useful and practical for Ukrainian dialogue facilitators in their ongoing work to develop a Ukrainian dialogue evaluation methodology. In addition, it can be of interest and use to mediators, evaluators, civil society organizations using dialogues, international organizations and donors supporting dialogues.
The research and the report were produced within the project “Building Dialogue Capacity for Conflict Prevention and Resolution” of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine with financial support from the Government of Germany.
