Call for Applications: Educational Eco-Hackathon for Young Leaders (OSCE)
The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe, in partnership with the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, is organizing a three-day environmental camp aimed at developing key competencies in effective leadership, public speaking, and innovative approaches to addressing environmental challenges. The camp also seeks to support youth career orientation in the field of environmental protection.

The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe, in partnership with the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, is organizing a three-day environmental camp aimed at developing key competencies in effective leadership, public speaking, and innovative approaches to addressing environmental challenges. The camp also seeks to support youth career orientation in the field of environmental protection.

Dates: 26–28 November 2025

Venue: Guliston, Sughd region (National Bank building)

The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe will cover transportation costs for participants traveling from other regions (except the Sughd region), as well as accommodation and meals for all participants throughout the event.

Objective

To enhance leadership and communication skills, promote environmental awareness, and foster the use of digital tools for solving environmental issues.

Target group

  • Senior-year university students;
  • Young professionals;
  • Representatives of youth organizations interested in environmental protection and sustainable development.

Eligibility criteria

  • Aged between 18 and 30;
  • Strong interest in environmental protection and sustainable development;
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and motivation to learn;
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team;
  • Geographic and gender balance will be ensured in the selection process;
  • Working knowledge of the Russian language.

Required documents

  • Copy of national passport.

In line with environmentally friendly principles, no printed materials will be distributed. The programme and other relevant documents will be available online at the above link.Participants are kindly requested to bring their laptop or tablet.
