The OSCE Programme Office in Astana, the Justice Academy under the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The event will train some 35 judges and representatives of regional courts from across Kazakhstan on best practices in combating corruption in the judiciary. It is a part of the OSCE-supported series of training courses for judges on the topic of effective anti-corruption instruments in the court system undertaken in close co-operation with the Justice Academy under the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan.
The training will provide an overview of available anti-corruption best practices, aiming at improving access to justice and establishing prevention mechanisms to safeguard judicial impartiality.
The event is a follow-up of the Office’s activities in the field of good governance, anti-corruption and the rule of law.
