OSCE supports Kazakhstan’s Parliament at international seminar on water facilities safety

The international workshop, organized by Russia’s Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service (Rostechnadzor), aims to raise awareness of relevant national decision-makers from Central Asian countries to address the challenges in operating water facilities. Two members of Kazakhstan’s Parliament will attend the event to familiarize themselves with the experience of the Russian Federation on legislative aspects of public oversight of water facilities and participate in expert meetings with their colleagues from Russia and Central Asian states.
The event is part of the Office’s activities aimed at reducing the risks of natural and man-made disasters as well as promoting transboundary water co-operation.
