Skopje, 28 March 2018 –The first in a series of OSCE workshops on the development of guidelines and a training module for better co-ordinated, harmonized and victim-centred identification of human trafficking cases among mixed migration flows concluded in Skopje today. The one-day event was organized jointly by the OSCE Office of the Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings (OSR/CTHB) and the OSCE’s field operations in South-Eastern Europe.

The OSCE Mission in Kosovo and the Association of Women in the Kosovo Police organized a three-day train-the-trainer course on trafficking in human beings (THB) for senior female police officers. Kyiv, 27 February 2018 – High-level government representatives from Ukraine, along with representatives of NGOs and of the international donor community met today in Kyiv to present annual achievements in combating trafficking in human beings and to set the strategies for the upcoming year.

London, 20 February 2018 – Hosted by the Office of the Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings (OSR/CTHB), a second meeting of experts to discuss ongoing OSCE research on trafficking in human beings for the purpose of terrorist activities concluded yesterday in Hammersmith.

More than 30 prosecutors and judges from across Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) attended a training course on trafficking in human beings (THB), which concluded on 1 February 2018 in Sarajevo. The course was organized by the OSCE Mission to BiH, in co-operation with the Judicial and Prosecutorial Training Center of the Federation of BiH.

VIENNA, 31 January 2018 – A plan for joint action by the OSCE and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) for the period 2018-2019 was signed by OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger and UNODC Executive Director Yury Fedotov today at the OSCE Secretariat in Vienna.
