A ten-day medical training course on providing first aid and evacuation to injured persons during explosive ordinance disposal concluded on 9 April 2021 at the Regional Explosives Hazards Training Centre under Tajikistan’s Deference Ministry located in the suburbs of Dushanbe. The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe organized the course in co-operation with Tajikistan’s Defence Ministry.
OSCE concludes training course on sustained field operation capacity for Tajikistan’s border officers in Tursunzoda district

A four-week training course on sustained field operation capacity for border officers of Tajikistan’s Border Troops was completed on 8 April in the Tursunzoda District. The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe in co-operation with Tajikistan’s Border Troops organized the course, which was funded by the European Union.
OSCE Border Management Staff College concludes its 28th Staff Course

The OSCE Border Management Staff College (BMSC) concluded its 28th Staff Course on 24 March 2021. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions on travel, this particular course was conducted only for local Tajik border security and management officials.

The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe concluded a five-day training course on "Providing Psychological Support to Victims of Domestic Violence" on 19 March 2021 in Dushanbe. Some 19 representatives from Women’s Resource Centres and Tajikistan’s Committee on Women and Family Affairs from Sughd, Khatlon, Rasht and Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast regions participated in the course.

The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (the Office) organized a two-day roundtable discussion on the role of women in law enforcement agencies with a focus on empowering women in the police sector. The event, co-organized with Tajikistan’s Interior Ministry and the Japan International Co-operation Agency, took place on the outskirts of Dushanbe on 12 and 13 March.
