Munich, 30 April 2015- Several members of the OSCE Panel of Eminent Persons (PEP) visited Kiev on April 29 and 30 at the invitation of the Government of Ukraine. The panel members met with the leaders of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission and other OSCE officials, Ukrainian government officials, and members of the diplomatic community, including the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Ukraine.

The SMM monitored the implementation of the “Package of measures for the Implementation of the Minsk agreements”. Its monitoring was restricted by third parties and security considerations*. Fighting continued around Donetsk airport and Shyrokyne. The SMM observed military movement on both sides of the contact line.
