Guide for dealing with cases of unlawful management of hazardous waste

The Guide deals with criminal acts related to management, storage and disposal of hazardous waste and is intended to aid the police, prosecutors, judges and environmental inspectors to investigate and prosecute hazardous waste crimes through enhanced co-operation. It lays out the powers and competences of the stakeholders (at the state, provincial and municipal levels) in the implementation of waste management regulations. It contains good practice examples and case studies, lessons learned and proposed recommendations for improved efficiency and effectiveness of operation and cooperation between stakeholders.  The Guide is available in Serbian language.
