OSCE Centre in Bishkek enhances security for small arms and light weapons and conventional ammunition warehouses in Koy-Tash

Since October 2015, the OSCE Centre in Bishkek’s ongoing programme on small arms and light weapons (SALW) and conventional ammunition (CA) has supported the reconstruction of warehouses of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces and constructed a new warehouse in military unit #73809 in Koi-Tash village, 20 km from Bishkek.
The work was completed in early April 2016. On 13 April, representatives of the embassies of the United States, United Kingdom, Germany and Finland, as well as members of the EU Delegation to Kyrgyzstan, the OSCE Secretariat, the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the International Trust Fund paid an assessment visit.
