The BiH authorities presented their Education Reform Strategy to the Peace Implementation Council, an international body that supports the peace process.
Created in part by the OSCE Mission to BiH, the strategy aims to develop a modern, high quality and de-politicized education system, and to ensure full and equal access to it. It highlights goals for education reform and focuses on the action needed to realize these goals. It covers:
- Access and non-discrimination
- Improved curriculum and teacher training in pre-, primary and secondary schools
- Vocational education
- Higher education
- Finance and legislation
