OSCE Office promotes high educational standards in the water sector

An OSCE-supported roundtable discussion for some 50 experts from the water and education sectors is being organized to discuss the existing gaps and needs in the national water management education system. The discussions will be focus on the analytical report on the current state of water educational standards in the circle of academia, representatives of governmental, private and civil society organizations.
The project aims to help promote the advanced preparation of future water management students in water resources utilization and water facilities and reconstruction disciplines.
The seminar is part of the Office’s long-standing efforts to introduce integrated water resources management principles in the national water framework and is in line with the OSCE priority of fostering the increased participation of youth in the decision-making process.
