RSS feeds
What is RSS?
RSS (which stands for Really Simple Syndication) is a way of keeping up-to-date with the news without having to visit lots of websites. Instead of you spending time fetching the news you're interested in, it's delivered to your computer automatically.
What do I need?
Essentially you need a piece of software called a "news reader" or "news aggregator". This can either be integrated into your web browser, or a separate piece of software that you download and install, or even a web-based service. See here for a list of news reader software.
