The three unions- the Cyprus Journalists' Union, Basin-Sen/Press Workers' Union, and the Turkish Cypriot Journalists' Union – participated as panelists at a side event hosted by the Office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media during a conference on safety of journalists, in Vienna. The side event, titled “Strengthening quality journalism for reconciliation in Cyprus”, has attracted an audience from over 20 participating States of the OSCE, and gave place to a lively and useful discussion about the need for dialogue and co-operation among journalists of neighbouring communities.

This research was implemented by the Independent Journalists' Association of Vojvodina (NDNV) with the OSCE Mission to Serbia's support.
