Shaping the future: Three new OSCE RFoM tools to safeguard media freedom
Video Clip
In the quest to assist the 57 participating States in upholding OSCE’s values and in response to the emerging challenges, OSCE RFoM developed three new tools. 1. The Safety of Journalists Toolbox showcases ways for participating States to fulfill their pledge and create a safer environment for journalists to work in. 2. Guidelines for monitoring online violence against female journalists will help to combat gender-based online violence against journalists which is a great harm to society as a whole. 3. The SAIFE Resource Hub puts a spotlight on Artificial Intelligence and Freedom of Expression, providing insights into how to utilize new technologies in order to safeguard media freedom.

OSCE Mission to BiH marks World Children’s Day
Video Clip
On the occasion of World Children's Day, the Mission would like to remind all institutions and individuals of their responsibility to protect children from any and all forms of discrimination. Although BiH has ratified and endorsed multiple treaties and commitments that protect the rights of children, 13% of parents responding to a 2023 public perception survey commissioned by the Mission stated that their child feels uncomfortable in school because of their gender, ethnicity, social background, language, religious beliefs, economic status or disability. We must continue working together to protect all children from discrimination and ensure that their educational experiences are inclusive, inspiring and motivating.
