Did you know that toxic PCBs can linger for decades in water, soil, and even our bodies? Since 2022, the OSCE Mission to Moldova has been working hand in hand with actors from both banks of the Dniester/Nistru River to assess and safely remove 265 tonnes of these chemicals — including 154 tonnes from the left bank — helping communities on both sides thrive safely and prosper.
