On the occasion of the UNHCR and OSCE-supported High-level Forum on Durable Solutions for Displaced Persons from Kosovo the participating institutions, led by Minister Dalibor Jevtić (Pristina), Director Marko Đurić (Belgrade), Director Željko Šofranac (Podgorica) and State Secretary Enver Husejin (Skopje), confirmed strong support for entering the implementation phase of the inter-institutional initiative on durable solutions for displaced persons from Kosovo.

The report analyses to what extent the equal use of official languages in Kosovo is being observed in the legislative framework, and highlights challenges and shortcomings. The report also provides recommendations to actors involved in drafting legislation on how to overcome identified deficiencies.

1472nd Plenary Meeting of the Permanent Council

On 27 and 28 November 2014 in Skopje, the OSCE Mission in Kosovo organized a conference for high-level representatives of Belgrade, Podgorica, Prishtinë/Priština and Skopje governments to support their efforts in identifying durable solutions for displaced persons from Kosovo. At the end of the conference the participants issued this joint statement confirming their commitment to co-operate on this issue.

This report is the first, generalized, OSCE assessment of the conditions in detention facilities Kosovo-wide, with a focus on human rights compliance.

This report analyses the response of Kosovo authorities to cases of domestic violence in light of the recent case of a woman repeatedly subject to domestic violence who was allegedly murdered by her husband, identifying significant concerns regarding the manner in which Kosovo authorities handle domestic violence cases.

This report assesses the extent to which public employing institutions are in compliance with their legal obligations to enhance representation of communities in the civil service through positive actions.
