Training on Preventing and Combating Illegal Trade in Art, Cultural Goods and Archaeological Artifacts concluded in Mostar

The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina (Mission), in co-operation with the Center against Trafficking in Works of Art (CPKU) and the Agency for Education and Professional Training Mostar (AEPTM), organized a three-day training on combatting illicit trafficking in cultural property in BiH for representatives and experts from law enforcement agencies, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, cultural ministries, academia, and NGOs.

Differences between trafficking in human beings and smuggling of migrants focus of OSCE-supported training course

More than 40 representatives of the BiH Border Police, BiH State Investigation and Protection Agency, Service for Foreigners' Affairs and BiH Prosecutor’s Office attended a three-day, multi-sectoral training course on the differences between trafficking in human beings and the smuggling of migrants, which concluded on 22 March 2023 in Sarajevo. The course was organized by the OSCE Mission to BiH, in co-ordination with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
OSCE completes training of trainer on identifying false documents and impostors in Bosnia and Herzegovina

On 5-16 December 2022, the Border Security and Management Unit of the OSCE Transnational Threats Department (TNTD), in close co-operation with the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina organized a two-week train-the-trainers course on identifying forged documents and impostors at border crossing points with the use of specialised equipment in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
