Joint OSCE-UNODC training course on cryptocurrencies and Darknet investigations held in Kazakhstan

From 19 to 23 June, the OSCE’s Transnational Threats Department, in conjunction with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and the OSCE Programme Office in Astana, organized a training course on cryptocurrencies and Darknet investigations at the Law Enforcement Academy under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
OSCE and UNOCT strengthen co-operation during Third United Nations Counter-Terrorism Week

Summer school visit to the OSCE

On 22 June, the OSCE Secretariat welcomed a group of international students to Vienna for a summer school visit aimed at providing hands-on experience of the Organization's programmatic activities. This visit offered participants an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the OSCE's comprehensive approach to security.
OSCE launches awareness raising campaign in Kyrgyzstan on preventing youth involvement in criminal and corrupt activities

On 19 June 2023, the OSCE’s Transnational Threats Department (TNTD) and the Office of the Co-ordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities (OCEEA), in co-operation with the OSCE Academy in Bishkek and the Programme Office in Bishkek, launched a comprehensive awareness raising campaign throughout Kyrgyzstan on preventing youth involvement in organized crime, corruption and drug use.
Training strengthens criminal justice responses to violence against women and girls in Montenegro

From 12 to 16 June 2023, gender-responsive policing of violence against women and girls (VAWG) was the focus of a national specialized training course in Bar. The training was organized by the OSCE Secretariat’s Transnational Threats Department (TNTD) in co-ordination with the OSCE Mission to Montenegro.
OSCE engages in regional consultations on the United Nations Programme of Action for cybersecurity

On 14 June, in co-operation with the OSCE’s Transnational Threats Department and OSCE Chairpersonship of North Macedonia, the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) held a regional consultation on the United Nations Programme of Action for cybersecurity. The consultations seek to advance responsible behaviour in the use of information and communications technologies in the context of international security.
