OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe supports Ministry of Interior in holding working group meeting to revise draft Law on Police

From 25-27 February 2025, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe supported the Ministry of Interior in organizing a working group meeting to review the draft Law on Police. The discussions took place in Hissor district on 25 February and continued in Dushanbe on 26-27 February.
Central Asian nations enhance their explosive ordnance disposal capabilities through Belgium exchange visit

Experts from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan recently concluded a valuable exchange visit to Belgium focused on enhancing their Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) capabilities. The visit, which took place from 10 to 14 February 2025, was facilitated and supported by the OSCE field operations in Central Asia and hosted by the Kingdom of Belgium, with participation from the United States.

From November to December 2024, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe organized a series of informational sessions for local state authorities under the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade across various regions. These sessions took place in Darvoz, Garm, Kulob, Bokhtar, and Khujand, attracting approximately 150 participants (119 males and 31 females) representing 12 subsectors defined in the Green Economy Strategy.
