Decizia istorică de a deschide podul dintre Gura Bîcului și Bîcioc pe 18 noiembrie 2017 simbolizează un progres în procesul de reglementare transnistreană. Aceasta a determinat semnarea de către părți a cinci acorduri adăugătoare la sfârșitul anului 2017 și primăvara anului 2018.
