Incidenti počinjeni iz mržnje su često nasilna ispoljavanja netolerancije koja ulijevaju strah i unose razdor u zajednice. Ključno u borbi protiv incidenata počinjenih iz mržnje je suočavanje sa problemom predrasuda, prisutnim u osnovi ovih razdirućih djela. Misija OSCE-a u Bosni i Hercegovini (BiH) podržava vladine institucije, pravosudni sistem, lokalne organe vlasti i civilno društvo u efikasnom reagovanju na ovakve vrste incidenata. "Monitor mržnje" nudi mjesečni pregled incidenata na teritoriji BiH i reakcija javnosti na zabilježene incidente.
