2000 - Report on Interaction Between Organizations and Institutions in the OSCE Area (es)

Annual Report from 1 November 1999 to 31 October 2000

Desde el final de la Guerra Fría, la OSCE se ha enfrentado con diversos riesgos y desafíos en Europa. Las divisiones de Europa pertenecen al pasado, pero se han planteado nuevos riesgos y nuevos desafíos. Durante el último decenio del siglo XX se cometieron atrocidades de un tipo que no se había visto desde el final de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Para hacer frente a los nuevos desafíos, en los primeros años del decenio de 1990 el proceso de la CSCE se institucionalizó hasta el punto de que la CSCE fue reconocida por sus Estados participantes como instrumento primordial para la pronta alerta, la prevención de conflictos, la gestión de crisis y la rehabilitación posconflicto.
