This singular vision, born in Helsinki, still inspires the work of the OSCE in all its aspects. The Finnish Chairmanship paid fitting tribute to this vision. The determination of the Chairman-in-Office and his team throughout this particularly challenging year was remarkable. The crisis in Georgia in August was shocking. The war was also a reminder of our core mandate: to build a space of co-operative security and to work toward overcoming our- often serious- differences by peaceful means". Les présentes Lignes directrices sur les partis politiques ainsi que les notes interprétatives ont été préparées par le Groupe d'experts sur les partis politiques du Bureau des institutions démocratiques et droits de l'homme (BIDDH) de l'Organisation pour la sécurité et la coopération en Europe (OSCE) en consultation avec la Commission européenne pour la Démocratie par le droit (Commission de Venise) du Conseil de l'Europe. Le document tient compte des commentaires reçus des membres de la Commission de Venise qui ont été consultés sur le projet de ces Lignes directrices.
