Predsedavajući OEBS pozdravio produženje mandata Misije u Ukrajini i pozvao na neometan pristup

BEOGRAD, 12. mart 2015 – Današnja odluka Stalnog saveta OEBS u Beču da se produži mandat Specijalne posmatračke misije OEBS-a u Ukrajini (SPM) i izdvoje neophodna sredstva, potvrđuje podršku i posvećenost svih 57 država učesnica sprovođenju sporazuma iz Minska i Misiji, rekao je predsedavajući OEBS i ministar spoljnih poslova Republike Srbije Ivica Dačić.
„Moramo da iskoristimo trenutak kako bismo dostigli cilj koji nam je, siguran sam, zajednički, a to je da se okončaju neprijateljstva, verifikuje povlačenje teškog naoružanja i ojača nacionalni dijalog koji vodi ka normalizaciji situacije i boljem životu svih koji su pogođeni sukobom“, rekao je.
„Ključno je da sve strane osiguraju nesmetan pristup posmatračima OEBS i garantuju njihovu bezbednost, što je nužno da bi SPM sprovela svoj mandat na terenu“, dodao je.
Odlukom je mandat Specijalne posmatračke misije produžen do 31. marta 2016. Ovim je dalje omogućeno povećanje broja posmatrača SPM sa 500, koliko je u ovom trenutku odobreno, do najviše 1000, po potrebi, u skladu sa situacijom na terenu.
Ministar Dačić se zahvalio državama učesnicama OEBS na saradnji koju su pružile srpskom predsedavanju u procesu donošenja odluke o Misiji u Ukrajini.
