Parliament of Montenegro equipped to communicate on budget and research through infographics

Building on the training courses in 2020 and 2021, the OSCE Mission to Montenegro finalized in September advanced training sessions on infographics and data visualization for eight staff of Parliamentary Institute and Parliamentary Budget Office, enabling them to develop creative solutions for Parliament’s publications, produced in a clear and concise form.
OSCE supports the police to deliver educational classes and colouring books to first graders in Montenegro

During September 2022, around 7.800 first graders in all elementary schools across Montenegro were presented with educational colouring books, designed and printed with the support of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro, in co-operation with the with the Montenegrin section of the International Police Association and the Women Police Association of Montenegro.

Following an in-house training on live and emergency reporting in May, the OSCE Mission to Montenegro organized the second round of a training course for journalists of the national public service broadcaster – Radio Television Montenegro (RTCG) to improve their skills and techniques to better report live on developing stories from 3 to 5 October.
OSCE Mission to Montenegro trains police officers across country on how to conduct interviews with trafficked victims

From 26 to 30 September, the OSCE Mission to Montenegro organized three training courses for police officers in Bar, Kolašin and Podgorica on how to conduct interviews with victims of human trafficking, using a Guidance with standardized set of questions to ensure their rights are respected.
OSCE Mission to Montenegro completes education programme for parliamentary staff, equipping them to deliver in-house training sessions

As part of a comprehensive mentoring process the OSCE Mission to Montenegro has been implementing since 2020, five professional staff of the Parliament of Montenegro have been equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge as trainers to deliver in-house training sessions for their peers.

OSCE facilitates visit of Montenegro’s State Election Commission’s Chair to Sweden

From 9 to 12 September, the OSCE Mission to Montenegro facilitated a visit of the Chairperson of State Election Commission, Nikola Mugoša, to Sweden where he observed the 2022 Swedish parliamentary, regional and municipal elections. The Chairperson also visited the Swedish Parliament, the Election Authority, Stockholm City Hall and polling stations.
