Sarajevo, 23 March 2023 – As current Chair of the OSCE Forum for Security Co-operation (FSC), and in partnership with the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 22 March in Vienna, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) organized a side event Strengthening Regional Co-operation on Parliamentary Oversight of Defence and Security in Southeast Europe.

As part of the OSCE Mission to BiH project Enhancing of Intelligence-led Policing to Combat Serious Security Threats and Crimes (ILP Project), over the past four weeks the Mission organized both a workshop for senior managers of all law enforcement agencies (LEAs) in BiH and ten workshops for operational staff of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, BiH Border Police, BiH Directorate for Co-ordination of Police Bodies, Service for Foreigners’ Affairs, Indirect Taxation Authority, Brčko District Police, Police Administration of the Federation of BiH, and the police administrations of ministries of interior of nine cantons: Una-Sana; Posavina; Tuzla; Zenica-Doboj; Bosnian-Podrinje; Central Bosnia; Herzegovina-Neretva; West Herzegovina; and Canton 10.

SARAJEVO, 20 September 2022- Today in Sarajevo, the OSCE Mission to BiH held a high-level launch of a much-anticipated five-year project on Enhancing Intelligence-Led Policing (ILP) to Combat Serious Security Threats and Crimes in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). OSCE representatives introduced the key project aims and activities focused on advancing the ILP model through close collaboration and partnership among BiH law enforcement agencies. The participants also established a co-ordination group on ILP and stressed the importance of the project for modernizing policing.
