Specijalni predstavnik za Zapadni Balkan Žerar Studman pozvao na uzdržanost i mere za izgradnju poverenja

Skoplje, 14. maj 2015 – Nadovezujući se na inicijativu predsedavajućeg OEBS-u i ministra spoljnih poslova Republike Srbije Ivice Dačića, njegov specijalni predstavnik za Zapadni Balkan, ambasador Žerar Studman, i šef Radne grupe za predsedavanje OEBS, ambasador Dejan Šahović, posetili su Skoplje 14. maja 2015.
Oni su se sastali sa predsednikom Vlade Nikolom Grujevskim, ministrom spoljnih poslova Nikolom Poposkim, predsednikom DUI Ali Ahmetijem, predsednikom SDSM Zoranom Zaevim, kao i sa predstavnicima civilnog društva. Svim sastancima prisustvovala je i visoka komesarka OEBS za nacionalne manjine, Astrid Tors.
Podsetivši da je stabilnost u Bivšoj Jugoslovenskoj Republici Jugoslaviji od ključne važnosti za stabilnost u čitavom regionu i ponovivši potrebu za sprečavanjem pogoršanja situacije, Studman je pozvao sve strane na uzdržanost tokom najavljenih demonstracija i na preduzimanje koraka ka smanjenju tenzija.
On je naglasio suštinsku potrebu za izgradnjom poverenja u državne institucije, a naročito odgovornost Vlade u tom smislu. Pozvao je na ustanovljavanje procesa za pomoć održivom političkom dijalogu koji bi se, na primer, mogao baviti pitanjima iz oblasti sistema pravosuđa. Takođe je ohrabrio stvaranje nezavisnog mehanizma koji bi bio u mogućnosti da obezbedi kredibilne istrage navoda o nedozvoljenim radnjama. U tom smislu, svim stranama je potvrdio spremnost OEBS-a za pružanje dalje pomoći.
