Povećano nasilje u istočnoj Ukrajini na dnevnom redu vanrednog zasedanja Stalnog saveta OEBS

BEČ, 26. januar 2015 – Srpsko predsedavanje OEBS sazvalo je za danas vanredno zasedanje Stalnog saveta OEBS, u kontekstu naglog pogoršanja situacije u istočnoj Ukrajini, a posebno granatiranja civilnih oblasti u Mariupolju 24. januara.
Šef Specijalne posmatračke misiji u Ukrajini, ambasador Ertugrul Apakan, i specijalna predstavnica predsedavajućeg OEBS-u ambasador Hajdi Taljavini izvestili su Stalni savet i izrazili duboku zabrinutost povećanim nivoom nasilja u oblastima Donjeck i Lugansk, i širenjem nestabilnosti na druge gradove. Naglašena je potreba da se sve strane hitno vrate mirovnim konsultacijama kako bi se postiglo održivo primirje i primenile sve odredbe sporazuma iz Minska.
Srpsko predsedavanje OEBS-u ponovo je iskazalo jaku podršku radu Trilateralne kontakt grupe i Specijalne posmatračke misije u Ukrajini. Predsedavanje je osudilo neselektivnu upotrebu teškog naoružanja u oblastima naseljenim civilima, pozvalo na hitan prekid neprijateljstava na terenu i izrazilo saučešće i saosećanje sa porodicama stradalih i povređenih.
