Role of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and the ECHR case law in ensuring consistency of judiciary practice in Ukraine - seminars for judges and advocates

The series of six one-day methodological seminars (organized by two in three cities) for local and appellate courts judges and advocates will focus on implementation of the OSCE commitments by the judiciary; ensuring compliance of national judicial practice with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) case law; application of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and the ECHR case law in civil jurisprudence and in criminal proceedings.
The seminars will take place in Vinnytsya (4-5 July 2014), Zhytomyr (11-12 July 2014) and Khmelnytskyy (5-6 September 2014).
