About
The main objective of the workshop is to discuss the relationship between media and counter-terrorism policies and ways to enhance co-operation between governments, civil society and media organizations.
It will contribute to the development of general guidelines, standards and recommendations regarding co-operation on issues related to countering terrorism and the role of the media. It will also elaborate on options for further OSCE involvement in promoting public-private partnership initiatives with the media and civil society organizations in countering terrorism at the national and sub-regional levels.
The expected participants are relevant experts and practitioners from governments, civil society and the media, as well as international and regional organizations.
