Presidential Election, November 2013
In anticipation of an invitation to observe the upcoming presidential election and in accordance with its mandate, the OSCE/ODIHR undertook a Needs Assessment Mission to Dushanbe and recommended the deployment of an election observation mission.
Parliamentary Elections, 28 February 2010
Tajikistan invited ODIHR to observe the 28 February parliamentary elections. Following a needs assessment mission, ODIHR deployed an election observation mission.
Presidential Election, 6 November 2006
In response to an invitation from Tajikistan's Foreign Ministry, ODIHR deployed an election observation mission to observe the presidential election on 6 November.
Parliamentary Elections, 27 February and 13 March 2005
In response to an invitation from Tajikistan's central election commission, ODIHR deployed an election observation mission to observe the parliamentary election on 27 February 2005, with a second round of voting on 13 March.
Parliamentary Elections, 27 February 2000
In accordance with the General Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and National Accord in Tajikistan signed on 27 June 1997, the OSCE/ODIHR and the UN deployed a Joint Election Observation Mission to Tajikistan to monitor the parliamentary elections, scheduled for 27 February and 23 March 2000.
