Early Parliamentary Elections, 14 October 2012
Following an invitation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro to observe the 14 October early parliamentary elections, and based on the findings of the Needs Assessment Mission, ODIHR recommended the deployment of a Limited Election Observation Mission for these elections.
Early Parliamentary Elections, 29 March 2009
Following an invitation from Montenegro's Speaker of Parliament, ODIHR deployed an election observation mission on 26 February to observe the early parlimentary elections in Montenegro on 29 March.
Presidential Election, 6 April 2008
Following an invitation from Montenegro's Foreign Ministry, ODIHR deployed an election observation mission on 27 February to observe the presidential election on 6 April.
Parliamentary Elections, 10 September 2006
Following an invitation from Montenegro's Foreign Ministry, ODIHR deployed an election observation mission on 9 August to observe the parliamentary elections on 10 September.
Referendum, 21 May 2006
Following invitations to observe the 21 May referendum on state status, ODIHR deployed a referendum observation mission on 28 March.
Presidential Election, 11 May 2003
Following an invitation from the President of the National Assembly, ODIHR established an election observation mission to monitor the 22 December 2002 presidential election. The election failed to fulfil a 50 per cent voter turnout requirement and a repeat election was held on 9 February 2003. This election also failed to meet the turnout requirement. On 10 April, ODIHR established a new mission, the eighth since 1997.

Following an invitation from the President of the National Assembly, ODIHR established an election observation mission to monitor the 22 December 2002 presidential election.
Early Parliamentary Elections, 20 October 2002
At the request of the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Montenegro (Federal Republic of Yugoslavia), OSCE/ODIHR established an Election Observation Mission on 18 September to observe the early parliamentary elections scheduled on 20 October and the concurrent municipal elections held in Podgorica and Tivat.
Municipal Elections, 15 May 2002
On 22 April 2002, OSCE/ODIHR established an Election Observation Mission for the elections of Councilors to Municipal Assemblies in the Republic of Montenegro/Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, held on 15 May.
Parliamentary Elections, 22 April 2001
On 28 March 2001, OSCE/ODIHR opened an Election Observation Mission for the early election of Representatives to the Assembly of the Republic of Montenegro, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, held on 22 April.
Municipal Elections, 11 June 2000
Following invitations from the Speaker of Parliament and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Montenegro, the OSCE/ODIHR Office in Montenegro observed the early municipal elections in Podgorica and Herceg Novi on 11 June 2000.
Parliamentary Elections, 31 May 1998
At the request of the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Montenegro, ODIHR established an Election Observation Mission in Montenegro for the 31 May Parliamentary elections.
Presidential Election, 5 and 19 October 1997
In accordance with the invitation from the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Montenegro, OSCE/ODIHR observed the 5 October Presidential Election in the Republic of Montenegro and the subsequent second round held on 19 October.
