Parliamentary Elections, 14 October 2012
Following an invitation from Permanent Mission of the Republic of Lithuania to the OSCE to observe the parliamentary
elections scheduled for 14 October 2012, the OSCE/ODIHR undertook a Needs Assessment Mission and recommended the deployment of an Election Assessment Mission.
European Parliament Elections, 4-7 June 2009
Following invitations from the 27 member states of the European Union (EU) to observe the 4-7 June elections to the European Parliament, ODIHR deployed an expert group to 15 EU member states from 11 to 30 May.
Presidential Election, 17 May 2009
Following an invitation from Lithuania’s Permanent Mission to the OSCE to observe the presidential election scheduled for 17 May 2009, ODIHR undertook a Needs Assessment Mission (NAM) to Vilnius from 6 to 9 April. The NAM did not recommend any OSCE/ODIHR election-related activity for this election.
Parliamentary Elections, 20 October and 10 November 1996
At the invitation of the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Lithuania, ODIHR deployed an On-site Co-ordinator and approximately 40 observers from 12 OSCE participating States to observe the parliamentary elections on 20 October and 10 November.
